- At CSAA, our approach to teaching science focuses on fun, engaging, hands-on learning experiences that spark students’ curiosity and learning motivation.
- Our science lessons utilize themed science boxes filled with materials for hands-on experiments, allowing students to explore and learn actively.
- Each science theme: typically 4 – 5 classes
- Our goal is to help students see science as a dynamic process of inquiry, where they ask questions about the world around them, experiment and investigate to find answers, and construct explanations grounded in evidence.
Arduino
- Grade 5-7
- Are you looking for ways to engage your children with technology they can not only play with, but also learn from? Our Arduino program is the perfect choice!
- Arduino is an open-source electronics platform featuring intuitive and accessible hardware and software.
- At CSAA, our Arduino program is tailored for young students eager to delve into electronics. We provide students with Arduino kits, which include a microcontroller (a physical programmable circuit board) and software for coding the microcontroller on the computer. Our lessons are “project-based”: students will use circuits and coding to create their own interactive projects.
- Through hands-on learning with Arduino, we seek to foster students’ creativity, problem-solving abilities, and interdisciplinary thinking skills, equipping them with essential skills to navigate the modern technological world.
